The desserts here are SUPER sweet. I felt like all those unique flavors should just be called "sugar flavor." Now, I love sugar, but if something is supposed to have a flavor besides sugar, I would like to taste that too. The exception to this is the dark chocolate ice cream. It's delicious.
Finally! There was no line! Sweet ice cream sandwich was yummy!Real more sweeter than I thought for homemade but liked texture of it.
The vanilla blueberry is amazing. And the coconut rice pudding is very good almost as good as mine :-)They were having some problems before but a little new construction and they are back. So glad I persisted.
Very delicious froyo and absolutely lovely owners. Great working wifi and a nice place to chill with friends and work 😊
One of the best yogurts! If in SF again, we will go back.
I liked picking my own ingredients. On a hot day it melts quickly.
Good but maybe a little hyped. Noticed all yogurt is prepackaged and individually wrapped before it is mixed to order. This seems incredibly environmentally unfriendly and a lot of waste.
A great place to try yogurt and cup cakes
That yellow flower cupcake flavor they got straight smack i could live off rhat for a month n their tart is perfectly twisted n their brownies coo too.
Party in your mouth and cookie monster was delicious, very sweet though
They seem to still be under Reno, but open still!
Just like grandma used to make! The original is your classic rice pudding but if you’re feeling adventurous they have some other equally delicious flavors. The beat part about loving Cup is the rewards program: buy 10 get one free! I come every chance my diet allows 😊
This place was ok!! Too much hype for me & the line went outside the door (at night), but it went by kinda fast.. I got the red velvet.. It was really good but if ur going with someone its best if u share.. One was just too much for me cuz it was really sweet.. Or have the other person with u order a different flavor so u both can half & try 2 different flavors.. Also, parking is soo tricky! Read the signs when parking so u don't get a ticket.
I’m not a huge fro yo person, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE loving cup! Vanilla with toffee and nutella is my go to. I also love that their fro yo is made from grass fed milk, that’s hard to find and SO much better than most typical modern dairy.
I love Andys, everytime I go I order the snowmonster which consists of vanilla concrete and they blend in chopped strawberries and inside the cup they melt chocolate chips which get solid on the inside and are a great contrast of sweet and bitter on your pallet.
Yummmm, love it when I come here. Chocolate, almond butter and strawberry is my go to. But, if it's peak dessert time, be ready to wait, customized soft serve is not a fast process (and there's not really a place to wait or eat it after).
Good selection of tasty flavors!
Super light texture and fresh flavors. Not artificial tasting, like what most people associate with froyo. I got one with blueberries and coconut and was in HEAVEN!
Loved how they made the ice cream right in front of your eyes! It was tasty and creamy and not overly heavy! A little pricey though
I really suggest getting the Snap Mallow Pop is you really like marshmallows and rice krispies. It's an extremely light flavor, but I loved it.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon, it wasn't too crowded. Amazing macaron ice cream sandwich, was my first time and i absolutely loved it. However, i do have a bit of a sweet tooth so if you don't like sweets too much this may not be the place for you. Overall, great customer service and amazing dessert!
I live less than ten minutes from here and this review is based on most recent visit. Walked in and clerk didn't say a word. I asked about seasonal flavors, he shook his head again not a word out from his mouth. By this time I'm thinking he may be deaf. Doubt it because he spoke to a group that walk after me. I did see a flavor that I never try before, but experience from minutes ago left me no desire to try. Will try again and if same result happened, I may need to drive to Hayes Valley location.
From far the best ice cream in San Francisco and a great concept, they actually use amazing home made macarons to make ice cream sandwiches ! They also do regular ice cream, cookies, cakes, coffee, etc.. A must in the city !
Generous servings of delicious healthy frozen yogurt.
I absolutely love loving cup!! I live near by and have gone way tooo many times. I have almost tried everything on the list. Party in my mouth, dirty hipster, butterfinger, & strawberry shortcake. Such great selections and it's non fat & probiotics. You can also create your own base & toppings.
Loving Cup me not! Hesitant on giving it 3 stars...it should be in-between 2-3 stars. Their goods here are just way too sweet. They have cute and good ideas like cupcakes in ice-cream cones but the taste is too rich and not exquisite enough for my taste buds. It's overly hyped and not that special in my opinion. But if you're really curious and in need of a sugar high, I'd tell you to to try it if you're in the neighborhood. :)
Delicious! Got the salty dog which was the perfect mix of salty and sweet with a great caramel sauce. They say it's fat free yogurt, which I guess makes it kinda healthy, but it doesn't have to be healthy when it tastes that good!
I've only tried the rice pudding. It's awesome! 190 calories for a small? It's worth the price and calories. The flavors change all the time, but I loved the cinnamon rum raisin flavor.
They have frozen yogurt that they mix in topping of your choice with by a machine. It's pretty cool and freshly made. About 5 dollars for a large.
My mocha chip was very nice, although I would've preferred it with vanilla instead of chocolate yogurt. Pretty quick, but then there wasn't a line. A small size is sufficient for most. Not cheap though.
Great environment and lovely workers, u met the owner when I went in and learned lots of history about this brand. Definitely will come back when I'm visiting San Francisco
Good snack food. A bit pricey but if you want organic or healthy froyo/rice pudding its a nice place to stop by. Also have kind employees
I love Loving Cup! They have amazing ice cream macaroons and I always get two when I go. :) I recently tried their Thai Tea ice cream macaroon and it was so good! I am so hooked. Their red velvet one is awesome as well. I tried their actual food (Turkey BLTC) and it was good too! It's a bit on the pricey side, so I only go once in a while. The reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because of the parking. It is awful trying to find parking spaces.
This place makes me happy :DIf you are a coffee lover you have to try Coffee Toffee Crunch Shake! The red velvet cupcakes are so cute and just the right size to satisfy your cupcake craving!
Honest to god some of the best ice cream I've ever had. No pictures because I ate it that fast! God bless this establishment.
This place is great! They have amazing non dairy choices and the flavors are yummy!
Great frozen yogurt!
The rice puddings and the slow-churn frozen yogurt with your choice of added items are all very good. Bright and cheery atmosphere. Good music, too.
What is a 1st grader's idea of the ultimate dessert? Ice cream! I brought both of my 1st graders to Loving Cup, we truly enjoyed the salted caramel macaroon ice cream sandwich, the mint chocolate chip and chocolate ice creams, the ooey gooey cookie and snickerdoodle. Everything is fresh! You can taste the ingredients as they're supposed to taste, not that preserved goo served at other parlors. P.S. - The ice cream sandwiches are hard, because they are FROZEN. Duh. Like any other frozen item, it quickly starts to become UN-frozen soon after being removed from the FREEZER. Duh-huh.
i wanted to give it a 5, but i cant because i never tried the drinks yet [: however for the macaron ice cream sandwich. WOW. just blown away the macaron was soft and just delicious, i dont know why i expected it to be hard for some reason. but love the different varieties and different ice creams. good job!
I never met a dirty hipster i didnt like, but this one takes the cake!!!
Love the Red Velvet cupcakes! Will definitely be back to try other stuff. Everything looks soo good I will be back. Wish the price can just be a bit cheaper. Yes I can't afford to come that often with these prices but will be back!
Great spot and staff. Wish t he interior was more updated
Pretty pricey, but really damn good. Service isn't quick, but it wasn't painfully slow. The Butter Finger is amazing.
Have come here 4-5 times and experimented with different flavor combinations. Cool to see them make your own yogurt. Ordering the fruit seems OP because it makes your frozen yogurt significantly larger.. Some of our favorites:Thin mint (oreo, thin mints, vanilla base)Strawberry, blueberry, and banana Sometimes the fruits aren’t ripe, which makes the flavors weird (e.g., would not recommend unripe banana), but that has only happened to us once
